Changes that could be made to my study program

My study program has a wide variety of subjects, ranging from theoretical to practical. In theory, we have subjects that have to do with educational methodologies such as, for example, "Formación de músicos", which focuses on preparing ourselves to accompany or direct the career of a musician in training.

The most practical subject we have is "Instrumento principal", in my case it is Guitar, this subject is supposed to be the most important of the degree, therefore, it covers the greatest number of hours of work in the week.

At the Universidad de Chile, the entire degree is ten years, there are five years of "basic cycle" and five years of "higher cycle." Its facilities are located on Compañía de Jesús street, in the heart of Santiago, it is a building with modern architecture and has about eleven floors.

In general, we do not use technology in the career, with the exception of each student's computers. This situation is unfortunate, since we are not prepared to be musicians with the use of technology, we could learn about microphones, video editing programs, recording, etc., I think that is something that should change.

The subjects in the "higher cycle" are many, and none reaches much depth in relation to the content to be learned. Perhaps it would be something that i would change, i would take out some subjects and give more hours to the most important ones, so that the student can leave with a greater number of tools.

Anyway, it is a very difficult career, but i have known how to carry it because i like it very much and i love playing the guitar and learning different things.
