My experience learning English goes back to my ten years, when i started receiving lessons at my school. I learned the numbers and the verb “to be”, i think the school's methodology did not suit me much, therefore, i did not learn much. Later, i got to know music in English and i learned a little more, my vocabulary got bigger. In high school, my learning was similar to school, the same things were taught, all focused on grammar, if I read something I could understand it better than listening, something completely unnatural. Today, i believe that learning a language is better if it is through the ear. Learning at university has been better than in my previous experiences, i think i have been able to have access to better teachers and that has helped me a lot. During this year, 2020, the classes have been online, which has made learning a lot through speaking and listening.   Blog #5 Changes that could be made to my study program My study program has a wide variety of subjects, ranging from theoretical to practical. In theory, we have subjects that have to do with educational methodologies such as, for example, "Formación de músicos", which focuses on preparing ourselves to accompany or direct the career of a musician in training. The most practical subject we have is "Instrumento principal", in my case it is Guitar, this subject is supposed to be the most important of the degree, therefore, it covers the greatest number of hours of work in the week. At the Universidad de Chile, the entire degree is ten years, there are five years of "basic cycle" and five years of "higher cycle."  Blog 4 Favorite Song One of the favorite songs is Let it be by The Beatles, i like its sound, its melody, musical arrangement and George Harrison's guitar solo. It is a beautiful song composed by Paul Mccartney in 1969, it appears on the album entitled Let it be. Let it be is important to me, because it was the first song i learned on guitar, i remember it was when I was about twelve years old, i learned it with the help of a tutorial on YouTube, it is a nice memory. I met the song when i was about ten years old, my father showed it to me.   Favorite Artist My favorite artist is John Lennon, i admire his songs, his melodies and his lyrics. Pets

In my life, I have had few pets, when I was little my mother gave me a dog, but one day it escaped to the street. However, when I was nineteen, Ringo came into my life, our yard came from the street. We with my younger brother picked him up right away, and convinced our grandmother to let us adopt him, he was a puppy, he must have been 2 months old, he was beautiful. Then he grew a lot, and weighed 35 kilos, he is adorable, an excellent companion. As time went by, it was time to make a new life, I left my home and decided to build my family, it was then that I brought him to live in the center with my partner, now the three of us live and are very happy. We walk three times a day, it is a bit tiring but it is what keeps us with our healthy minds.

My last holidays Post #2

My last holidays was in February 2020, I did it with my partner. We went to the central coast, El Quisco, rented a cabin and spent a week enjoying the tranquility of the sea.   It really has been my best holidays, we walked a lot on the beach, we ate a lot of seafood and sweet things. It was the first time that we had such a long and alone vacation, we had not had the opportunity to save up to be able to make the trip. The days were very sunny and clear, I think we did not have any cloudy or rainy days, we were really lucky.   I remember the great silence that there was during the day, it was really reassuring, we really enjoyed the clean air, the smell of the sea. In addition, we went to different places, one day we took a bus and went to have lunch at the port of San Antonio, we saw the sea lions, seagulls and fish that were around. Germany

I would like to go to Germany, in this country I would like to do my postgraduate studies in classical guitar. Germany is a very culturally rich country, it has good academies and universities, also having teachers of a very high musical level. This is why, in addition to studying, I would like to work there doing concerts and teaching. Perhaps one of the things that scares me is the language, I know very little or no German, perhaps there I will get used to the language and living with Germans. I want to do the trip with my wife, she also really wants to live there, that also motivates me a lot to make an effort to get there. The way I want to get there is through state scholarships from my country, Chile. Although now due to the pandemic the state has decided to stop paying those scholarships during 2021, which makes me very nervous, but I try to think positive and believe that everything will work out and that things will work out.
